The 13th edition of the Workshop on Low Temperature Electronics (WOLTE-13) was held in Sorrento (Napoli), a unique historical town and a very attractive resort situated in one of the most beautiful Mediterranean coastlines.
Beyond the traditional fields of WOLTE-13, this edition also included emerging topics such as low temperature devices for quantum communication, computation and spintronics, hybridization and integration of semiconductor, superconductor, magnetic and photonic devices (both detectors and sources) working at low temperatures.
Industrial and technological applications received particular attention in a dedicated and attractive exhibition area.
The social program was comprised of welcome cocktail and a conference dinner.
WOLTE-13 was organized by CNR SPIN, University of Napoli Federico II, and University of Salerno.
It was a pleasure to meet all the attendees in Sorrento!
